medical missionMedical Mission to Haiti

The medical mission team of Queen of Peace Parish in Gainesville packed more than 1,000 pounds of medical supplies Friday, Oct. 2, in preparation for their mission trip to Haiti, Oct. 6-14.

The team will be providing health care for the residents of the home for the elderly the parish built and supports. They will also be working with an orphanage run by the Missionaries of Charity and the St. Boniface and Hands Together foundations, which provide medical, nutritional, educational and development services throughout the island.

Members of the medical mission will be taking turns blogging from Haiti. Visit the site each day to read their reflections on their ministry to the people of Haiti.
